• Often clients are over moisturizing their skin, believe it or not. The skin loses its ability to make its own moisture if you do that. Dry skin can also be caused by frequent bathing, hot showers, the use of the wrong skin care products, aging as well as certain medical conditions.
• After menopause, your skin will often be more dry and dehydrated. The skin can feel thin and lackluster. Oil production slows down when we age.
• Even skin that is oily can sometimes become dry at certain times. The skin is constantly changing and even your lifestyle can have an effect on the dryness of your skin.
