Did you know you can’t technically change your pore size? Your pores are also known as hair follicles. They are one and the same. We get many clients concerned about pores sizes that are completely normal. Not even congested. We have clients want to constantly “shrink their pores”. So let’s review what is possible with pores.
- You will never change your pore size. It’s genetically determined. Sorry but true.
- You can change what’s IN your pores that makes them appear larger, congested and more noticeable. We have pore refining products and deep cleansers that do just that. We also have chemical peels, microneedling, lasers and other treatments that enhance the appearance of pores and keep them as small as possible. Sometimes it as simple as cleaning your face for at least one minute with massage.
- Some pores get very clogged and require extractions by our professional medical aesthetician. Shae has more than a few tricks to clear congested pores without damaging the surrounding skin. Plus, she will give you the education on how to keep pores less congested.
- If you can’t see your pores from two feet away, no one else can either. People are convinced that others see their pores when in reality, they are looking at their pores with a 10x mirror every night which magnifies these pores into small planets. Stay away from the magnification. Look at yourself realistically. Tell yourself beautiful things about yourself.
