Are you looking to refresh and revive the skin with a chemical peel? Charmed Medispa has medical grade chemical peels to remove sun damage, improve tone and skin texture and diminish wrinkles and fine lines. There are some important things to consider about chemical peels.
Some skin types should be prepped with skin care products prior to having a chemical peel. Sensitive skin with rosecea as well as skin that has melasma are two types of skin conditions that our practice believes strongly should be prepped with skin care prior to having chemicals applied to the skin. If you add a chemical peel to non-prepped skin, some skin conditions will actually get worse. Melasma is a great example of a skin condition that can get worse after applying a chemical. It’s important to know how the skin behaves prior to deeper chemical peels.
One of our favorite peels is the ZO Skin Health 3 Step Peel. This peel is a powerhouse peel and is much stronger than other peels. The 3 Step peel can significantly improvement pigmentation, melasma, acne and fine lines. You can expect more peeling from this peel than the ViPeel.
The ViPeel is a popular peel for many years. It is a moderate peel (not too strong, not too light) and does a great job of refreshment for all skin types without a skin prep. Chemical peels can also be used after laser services like IPL to enhance the results. In addition, chemical peels are often used during our facials. We love the ZO Stimulator Peel. It is a great universal chemical peel.
