Trust us on this, you should not be the one deciding which technology, laser versus microneedling, is right for you. Laser is more powerful and can have many settings from mild, moderate to deep as well as technician things like how fast the pulse is administered, what colors the laser is trying to recognize, and how strong should each laser pulse be. Microneedling, on the other hand, has very little settings to modify. You can choose a needle depth and how many passes you do but you cannot control the strength of the device. In microneedling, you can add products on the skin first to infuse them into the skin. With laser, you should have no products.
In addition, a laser cannot be used on tan skin and some darker skin clients. But a microneedling, can be used on all skin types. A laser can remove brown spots very, very fast but a microneedling device does not have the same wow results for spots.
Both technologies require one major emphasis. You have to have THE BEST PERSON doing it. Both laser and microneedling are extremely technically dependent. If you get an aesthetician or nurse who is subpar and you get subpar results or worse, you have an adverse event. At Charmed Medispa, we have the best lasers and the best laser operators, Shae Ryan, LE and Loraine Olson, RN. This is essential! The providers are both nationally certified laser operators (VERY uncommon).
Charmed Medispa has lasers and microneedling and because we have both, we can offer the appropriate treatment for your skin, your desired outcome and your satisfaction. We have more experience than anyone in Delaware and we accept your challenge to provide results.
In addition, we offer dermal fillers like Restylane and Juvederm, Botox and Dysport, laser hair removal, exilis ultra, sculptra, facials, microdermabrasions, medical grade skin care, chemical peels, skin management and more in our Newark, Delaware location.
