When you arrive, you will meet our injection expert, Loraine Savarese, RN. She has been injecting lip filler for 18 years. Her main priority is to listen to your concerns and explain what you can expect when you have lip filler. One of the main myths about lip filler is that you might think you will be too big after having lip filler when in reality, you can expect that you might actually want more lip filler. After your consult, you will feel more comfortable because you have a ton of information to make an informed decision.
At your lip filler appointment, numbing cream will be applied for about 20-30 minutes which will help make your experience comfortable. This is an important step in the process. The lip filler injections will take about 15 minutes and Loraine will crisp your borders or add more volume to the top lip based on your concerns. After your treatment, you can expect swelling and some bruising potential. We will give you a special healing cream to use to diminish any swelling and bruising. The next day you can expect more swelling and by the third day, you will have much less swelling and really be enjoying your enhanced lips.
