We are delighted to hear from our community on social media platforms with questions that they have about our practice and injector, Loraine Savarese, RN. If you are looking for an aesthetic specialist in Delaware to manage your journey in successful aging, look no further than Charmed Medispa and Loraine. Let’s take a deeper dive into her perspective on hot topics in a medical spa and shed some light on her knowledge about these topics.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TREATMENT PERSONALLY?
That’s a tough one because I like so many but if I had to choose just one treatment, it would have to be Dysport. Dysport is more potent than Botox and for me and the staff I feel like it works better and longer. I absolutely love that Dysport is the only thing that makes my under eye wrinkles better. A lot better. I also truly love my neck band treatment with Dysport.
WHAT GOT YOU INTO AESTHETICS?
Getting into aesthetics was by chance a long time ago. I worked with Dr. Malek assisting with plastic surgery before there was any medical spas. I loved plastics. I also worked for a large group of plastic surgeons and helped patients through their facelifts, tummy tucks and many skin cancers. Eventually, medical spas and these types of services became more well known and I was happy to be able to pioneer the large plastic surgery group to adding these services. Then doing these types of services became my full-time goal. It was a welcome change and one I’ve really enjoyed especially when I would travel to train other providers.
WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT GOALS?
My primary goal is to elevate patient satisfaction and boost confidence by delivering personalized aesthetic services at our medical spa. We aim to create a positive and transformative experience for each patient, addressing their unique concerns and promoting a sense of well-being. I want to be their ambassador and advocate for them including providing encouragement and helping patients to see their true beauty without treatments. Many patients are so self critical and I need to re-orient them about all the positive features they have. I am so empowered by my long-term relationships with my patients.
WHAT IS A PET PEEVE OF YOURS?
This is easy – unkind people. There’s nothing that grates on my nerves more than witnessing unkindness. Whether it’s a thoughtless comment, a dismissive attitude, or outright cruelty, the lack of empathy and consideration for others is a pet peeve that hits close to home. I understand we all have bad moments and days but it’s not an excuse to be unkind. Also, on a side note, some providers in this industry who are only out to exploit their patients and recommend serves that they don’t need. There are moments that I’m in shock!
Thank you everyone for reaching out to Charmed with these questions. We are always here to address any concerns you may have and are happy for you to get to know our providers! Feel free to message us on Facebook, Instagram or at charmedmedispa@gmail.com.
