We have a perfect combination treatment that includes Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and chemical peels. It’s like cleaning both the inside and outside of your windows! What a difference!
Intense Pulsed Light uses a light source (like a laser) to target sun spots that are deep in the skin. The sun spots will appear darker right after treatment and then they will magically lift to the surface of the skin and fall off. It’s a really fabulous process. You can have sun spots one day and two weeks later they have fallen off. There is no flaking of skin at all with IPL. Just magical reduction in sun damage. Intense Pulsed Light also treats redness and broken capillaries that can be caused by rosecea even. The treatment targets redness and even red dots that can occur and unlike them “falling off” these broken capillaries will be absorbed by the body in time. Do you have any broken vessels around your nose? This is very common and IPL is a perfect option to treat them.
After your Intense Pulsed Light, we will add a chemical peel to revitalize and renew the skin surface. Our favorite chemical peel right now is the ZO 3 Step Peel. This peel is results oriented (unlike say a pumpkin enzyme peel). There can be lots of peeling and refreshed skin and our clients love it. In addition, we offer the ViPeel and our customized Charmed Fresh Peels. The chemical peels work very differently than the IPL so you will get through and through improvement in your skin from top to bottom.
